Getting started

A guided path from program intake to ongoing review.

  1. Begin guided onboarding

Your LineLint contact will confirm your organization’s requirements, participating locations, vendors, and the people who should have access.

  2. Provide program information

Your LineLint contact will confirm which records are needed and provide secure submission instructions.

    • Current vendor agreements and amendments
    • Recent invoices or invoice access
    • A list of participating locations or accounts
    • Relevant pricing schedules and service requirements
    • Information about known billing or service concerns

Do not send vendor credentials or sensitive documents through an unapproved channel.

  3. Program configuration

LineLint organizes the provided information into a structured view of your vendor program. This can include locations, agreements, service items, expected pricing, invoices, and relevant program requirements.

  4. Review findings

Once the available information has been processed and reviewed, authorized users can use LineLint to understand program spend, compare invoiced charges with applicable agreement expectations, and investigate potential compliance or savings opportunities.

  5. Take action and monitor outcomes

Where applicable, LineLint can support the review and tracking of billing issues, recovery requests, pricing corrections, and other vendor-management actions. Available workflows may vary by engagement.

02

Core workflows

How program records move from source documents to action.

Agreements and program records

LineLint helps organize vendor agreements, pricing terms, service items, locations, and related program information. Customers should notify LineLint when an agreement, amendment, location, or service requirement changes so the program record can be reviewed and updated.

Invoice collection and review

Invoices may be collected through supported vendor workflows or provided using an approved upload process. Because vendor formats and billing practices differ, some invoices or line items may require additional review.

Variance and compliance analysis

LineLint can compare observed invoice activity with configured agreement expectations. A variance indicates a difference that may warrant review; it does not necessarily mean that a vendor made an error. Differences can result from agreement changes, incomplete records, taxes, usage changes, one-time services, or vendor-specific billing practices.

Savings opportunities

LineLint may identify pricing, usage, or program-management opportunities based on the information available. Results should be reviewed with the underlying agreement, invoices, and operational context before action is taken.

Recovery workflows

When a potential billing issue is confirmed, LineLint may be used to organize supporting information and track the resulting recovery or correction workflow. Outcomes depend on the agreement, available documentation, and the vendor’s review.

03

Understanding your results

What to check when a finding needs a closer look.

LineLint’s analysis is based on the documents, invoice information, configuration, and other records available for the applicable period.

If a result appears incorrect

  1. Confirm that the relevant agreement and amendment are on file.
  2. Confirm that the invoice, account, location, and service period are correct.
  3. Note any recent pricing, service, or location changes.
  4. Contact the LineLint team with the affected record and supporting information.

The LineLint team can review the configuration and determine whether an update or further investigation is appropriate.

Requirements vary by program. Common documents include vendor agreements, amendments, pricing schedules, invoices, location lists, and relevant service records. Your LineLint contact will confirm what is needed.

How are documents submitted?

Use the upload, intake, or other secure submission method provided during onboarding. Contact LineLint before sending sensitive information through a different channel.
